On some computers the togglekeys sounds may be played very quietly or too quietly to be heard. Installing the Fixspkr.inf should resolve this issue. ---------------------------------------------------- To enable speaker notification when using Togglekeys ---------------------------------------------------- 1. Select FIXSPKR.INF found in the \Tools\MTSutil\Fixspkr folder on the Windows 98 CD. 2. Right-Click FIXSPKR.INF. -or- Hold down the SHIFT key and press the function key, F10. 3. Choose INSTALL to install the FIXSPKR.INF. 4. Restart your computer. Note: After installing fixspkr.inf, every time the computer is booted up, fixspkr.exe will be run from the RunServices key of the registry. When this happens an MS-DOS window will open, a beep will be played, and the window will close.
