The instructions for this game are included in an RTF format - I would suggest reading them - there's a lot of important stuff in there.

This file is just a quick snatch to help you get setup, since recently I've received several e-mails questioning why the game is freezing
after the first move.  If you've experienced that problem, this will solve it.  If you haven't, you probably ought to do this anyway - adjust
the sound settings.  Even if your game didn't freeze, it will probably be silent unless you do this:
																	
Get into the "soundstuff" directory.  Run the "sounds.bat" file.  Follow the instructions.  Then switch back to the "tno" directory
(assuming, I guess this is what you unzipped it to - in other words, return to the game's parent directory) and copy to it the following 
files from the "soundstuff" directory:  "soundrv.com", "midpak.adv", "midpak.ad" and "midpak.com".  To play the game with full sound and 
music run "gotno.bat".  With no sound or music just run "tno.exe".
