Tiger Road

Safety Precautions

Please take time to read the important instructions in this booklet.  We
recommend that you read it thoroughly, observing and complying with the
safety precautions before you begin your challenging experience with TIGER
ROAD.  It's your personal guarantee to greater satisfaction over a long
period of time.

1. Avoid subjecting the DISK PAK to extreme temperature variances.  Store
   at room temperature.

2. Avoid touching with fingertips.  Re-insert DISK PAK in its protective
   jacket to keep clean and avoid scratching.

3. Do not bend.

4. Use of thinners, solvents, benzene, alcohol and other strong cleaning
   agents can damage the DISK PAK.

5. For best results, play the game a distance away from your television 
   set.

6. Pause for 10 to 20 minutes after two hours or more of continuous game
   playing.  This will extend the performance of your DISK PAK.

7. Do not place this DISK PAK on or near a television set.  Exposure to
   the magnetic fields of the picture tube could result in damage to the
   DISK PAK.

The Tiger Road Story

The children of the village have disappeared!  Kidnapped by the evil
warlord.  And his plans for them aren't pretty.

Rescue the children from a hideous fate, before the warlord can transform
them into warrior zombies.

To defeat this merciless madman, you'll set out on a perilous journey,
confronted by fearsome mercenaries, the thunder giants and the monstrous
ogre.

Travel a road of danger and adventure - with no signs to guide you.  Just
follow your instincts for survival and freedom.  Overcome overwhelming odds
and bring the children home.

Loading Procedures: Atari ST

Insert disk, turn on the computer and the game will load automatically.  To
start the game, follow the instructions that appear on the screen.

Loading Procedures: Amiga

Turn on the computer, then insert the disk.  The game will load
automatically.  To start the game, follow the instructions that appear on
the screen.

Loading Procedures: Commodore 64

Type: load, *,8,1, and the game will automatically load.  To start the
game, follow the instructions that appear on the screen.

Joystick Controls

Your joystick controls every move you make.  The basic joystick commands
are:

	Push up to jump up.
	Push up to the left or right to climb stairs.
	Push down to jump down.
	Push down to the left or right to walk down stairs.
	Push right to move right.
	Push left to move left.
	The fire button operates all weapons.

Game Play

Increase your firepower by collecting various weapons along the way. 
You'll find these weapons in small statues, which randomly appear during
play.  Break open the statues to release the weapons.  Some statues may
contain a hidden bonus surprise.

Hints

You have the ability to jump over certain obstacles and enemies.

You can restore energy points by tapping into the jars suspended from the
ceiling.

The monstrous ogre is vulnerable when he raises his arms.
